Our newly established Y-InSiGHT community is creating exciting new opportunities to connect, support, and inspire young researchers across our field. We are excited to share several upcoming initiatives designed to strengthen collaboration, visibility, and scientific exchange within our community.
Upcoming webinar series
Following the success of our February webinar on career development, we are delighted to announce the launch of a new webinar series. The series will feature engaging discussions on varying topics relevant to both young and experienced researchers, with more details on the first session and dates coming soon. Stay tuned!
New podcast initiative
Want to stay up to date with the latest papers while cycling or commuting to work?
Coming soon: the InSiGHT podcast initiative — a new podcast series featuring conversations with authors of recently published papers. Through these discussions, authors will share insights into their latest discoveries, research experiences, and scientific journeys.
Follow our social channels to stay informed about upcoming episodes and releases.
Research highlights
In collaboration with a soon-to-be-announced journal, we are exploring the opportunity to publish structured “Research Highlights” of newly released papers. These concise summaries aim to make recent research more accessible, engaging, and easier to follow for the wider community.

Y-InSiGHT research project
How well did your medical training program prepare you to manage inherited gastrointestinal conditions?
As the inaugural Y-InSiGHT research initiative, we aim to conduct an international survey to evaluate how hereditary gastrointestinal conditions are currently taught within gastroenterology and surgical training programs worldwide. By identifying gaps, variations, and unmet educational needs, the project seeks to guide the development of targeted learning resources and recommendations to strengthen future training.
