2017 InSiGHT biennial meeting in Florence

On behalf of InSiGHT, it is with great pleasure that we extend a warm invitation to our conference that will take place in Florence, the Renaissance city and the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the magnificent region of Tuscany in Italy.

The meeting will convene on Wednesday evening the 5 July, 2017, with a Welcome Ceremony and Reception. The scientific programme will begin on 6 July in the morning and will end on Saturday 8 July around 1pm. The venue is the Palazzo dei Congressi, a historical nineteenth century villa conveniently located near the Santa Maria Novella railway station in the city centre.

The meeting will have the associated satellite UEG (United European Gastroenterology) postgraduate course ‘A multidisciplinary approach to Hereditary GI Cancers: from Bench to Bedside’, that will be held on 5 July, 2017. Further satellite events, including a meeting of the European Hereditary Tumor Group, are in preparation, and timely notices will appear on the website. This will be accessible very soon at http://www.2017insight.com . Registrations and abstract submissions will open on 30 September 2016.

We therefore encourage you to participate by registering and submitting your abstract for an oral or poster presentation, or simply join us to meet others and learn the latest in on hereditary gastrointestinal cancer. So, come along join us and immerse yourself in not only an educational meeting, but also a warm, highly interactive and friendly meeting. You can do all this while enjoying the history, art and landscapes that Florence and Tuscany have to offer.
